Emma McDowell

Emma McDowell grew up playing music in Western North Carolina and the surrounding areas with her family band. She continued playing through her youth under her teacher and mentor, the legendary Arvil Freeman. She has performed with the Claire Lynch Band and the Jim Hurst Trio, and was invited to perform her original material at the 2008 and 2014 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Songwriter Showcases. 

Clara George

Clara George was raised in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho. She holds degrees from Interlochen Arts Academy and Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She has won numerous awards as a classical oboist, and also performed on the Lilith Fair tour with her first band, Surrender Dorothy. She has performed with Sarah McLachlan, Martina McBride, and Sheryl Crow. She also serves as a hospice musician through a partnership between The Front Porch and Hospice Of The Piedmont. 

Malia Furtado

Malia Furtado is from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. She comes from a large family of musicians. She began touring up and down the East Coast with her family when she was still a child, garnering performance experience, winning numerous prizes, and gaining a strong reputation in the regional music scene as a talented and versatile fiddler. She is also the fiddler for her sister's Mountain Home Label recording group, The Gina Furtado Project.
